An evening of mixed modern and Scottish country dancing with some interesting entertainment. Refreshments will be provided and tickets will be issued to those attending the Annual General Meeting and residing in Fleetwood over the weekend.

Saturday 1st May

The Annual General Meeting will be held in the Marine Hall, Fleetwood, commencing at 10 00am prompt. Mayor of Borough of Wyre will be piped to open the meeting.

The Annual Dinner and Ball will be held in the Marine Hall, Fleetwood. The evening will commence with the meetings of delegates by the Federation President, the Chieftain, Mayor of the Borough of Wyre and their partners, at 4 00pm for Dinner at 4 30pm followed by dancing from 7 30pm to 11 45pm to the Hoghton Band. There will be an interval at 9 30pm for guests to purchase drinks.

Sunday 2nd May

The Annual Church Service will be led by the Chaplain and held in the United Reformed Church, Fleetwood, at 10 45am. At the conclusion of the Service the congregation will process to the Cenotaph where a wreath will be laid at the War Memorial. Following the service and wreath laying, Fleetwood Scottish Country Dance Society invite delegates to light refreshments in the Church Hall.

Booking Arrangements

All bookings should be on a block basis by member societies of the Federation and should be made on the attached form. Individual applications cannot be accepted. Application for tickets may be made at any time but PAYMENT IN FULL secures the booking and must be received no later than 1st March 2010. After this date, unsold tickets will be distributed to anyone on a waiting list as the number is being limited to 230. Money for tickets cancelled after 7th April 2010 cannot be refunded unless the tickets are re-sold.
