Four Council meetings are held each year and three are hosted by societies

The Federation also holds an Annual General Meeting with Dinner and Highland Ball followed by a Church Service and wreath laying ceremony

Ladies of the Federation chat at the 80th Anniversary Dance

The Music, Arts and Crafts Festival is held in March each each and next year will be on 20th March 2010 at St Hildas School, Aigburth. There are numerous competitions for all ages in crafts, arts, baking, needlework, etc. A full syllabus and rules will be available in mid December

A very enjoyable fun day was held indoors because of the weather in June 2009 in St Helens. The newly formed NW Army Cadet Pipe band entertained those present and brought along some Highland dancers.



There will not be a Fun Day in 2010

A Bowls competition is held each year at the Wallasey Bowling Club.
The 2009 competition was able organised by Andy Ankers and held on a warm day at Wallasey. There were over 35 players who enjoyed a full morning's bowling. The final rounds were played in the afternoon with Jean (Nantwich) beating Ken Unsworth (West Derby) in the final 21 - 9



The date for the 2010 competition will be announced after Christmas 2009
